Historic First: Qa’im Reveals Statues Of Mohammed And His Family

Statues of Ahlul Bayt

Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq made history again when he unveiled five statues in The Hall of Mysteries at Webb House, the Headquarters of The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Crewe, the United Kingdom.

The statues, commissioned by Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq, in the order they were revealed are of prophet Mohammed, Fatima Al-Zahraa the daughter of Mohammed, Ali ibn Abi Talib the cousin and son in law of Mohammed, Al-Hassan the grandson of Mohammed and finally Al-Hussain and his infant son Abdullah both martyred in Karbala.

This is the very first time in history since the time they were alive that anyone has seen lifelike portrayals of these five figures from history also known as the Ahlul Kisa or people of the cloak.

A’isha reported: “The Prophet (pbuhahf) went out one morning wearing a striped cloak of black camel’s hair, then Al-Hassan ibn Ali came so he took him under it, then Al-Hussain came and he took him under it (with them), then Fatimah came and he took her under it, then Ali came and he took him under it and then he said: {Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet’s] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification}.” [Holy Quran, Al-Ahzab verse 33] (Sahih Muslim, Abi Al-Hussein Muslim ibn Al-Hajjaj ibn Muslim, 2nd ed., Book 44: Book of the Merits of the Companions, p.787, hadith 2424)

The unveiling of these 5 stone statues was accompanied with another first and that is a depiction of a scene from the famous Battle of the Camel, also referred to as the Battle of Basra which took place in the year 656AD or 36 Hijri. This battle which was a significant conflict during the First Fitna, pitting the forces of Ali ibn Abi Talib, the rightful heir and successor to Mohammed’s rule against a rebel army led by Aisha, Talha, and Zubayr where the muslims raised their weapons against the family of Mohammed and fought them officially in an all out war. This is mostly trivialised by the majority Sunni Muslims who do not see it as anything more than a difference of opinion between Aisha and Ali ibn Abi Talib. The image portrayed in this painting is a significant step in the right direction towards rebalancing the injustice of the audacity of that entire battle.

This momentous occasion was to mark the start of a new chapter in the story of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light as the announcement by Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq of the intention to make Webb House into a museum by introducing further works of art commemorating the historical aspects of the Divine call throughout time over the coming months. This literally means that Webb House will eventually become an official tourist attraction in which history is recorded and documented for the purpose of educating the world.
