On Thursday the 11th of December 2025, Germany became the latest country in the world to have the black banners of “Allegiance is to Allah” raised publicly in a march which lasted exactly one hour in the city of Essen from 15:30 to 16:30 local time.

Twenty two members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light officially organised and participated in the march calling the people to recognise the authority of God on Earth and to abandon elections and democracy due to their clear failure. Preparations began on December 1st with a general brainstorming session after Aba Al Sadiq had announced Ramadan for 2025 calling upon the Ansar to inform the people about fasting from elections, the Ansar in Germany quickly decided to launch a powerful call to action. Their plan was to organize a collective march through a major city, during which the banner would be raised. A banner in the German language had to be prepared and this was done by one of the believers using a large piece of fabric and fabric paint.

In the usual manner expected from the believers in the Mahdi, for every need someone stepped forward — whether it was registering the march with the police, obtaining a megaphone, or helping with translation to bridge the language barriers between the German and Azerbaijani believers living in Germany. They were like bees, as Aba Al Sadiq has often described, they had one intention and one focus. At several points, obstacles appeared but the shared faith and trust in Allah opened unexpected doors every time.

There were four primary objectives:

1 - Make the banner visible

2 - Everyone had to wear a black beanie as the recognizable symbol

3 - Be in motion throughout the march - the idea being that this is a movement, and movement creates visibility

4 - To be loud, in order to stimulate all levels of perception

The plan was for the march to pass through the Essen Christmas market, a large and well-attended market. Essen is a multicultural City. The route that was selected was expected to receive police approval - along the edge of the market -  but was in fact rejected. Surprisingly, the police provided an alternative route that led directly through the Christmas market.

The march started with a speech aiming to deliver the core message of:

“If God is good, then loyalty belongs to God and that means loyalty to what is good.”

Some of the words spoken during that speech were:

“Ignorance, oppression, and tyranny have flooded the Earth like an apocalyptic end-time prophecy. The Earth is suffering, and every single living being upon it suffers as well yet the Holy Qur’an says: “There is no creature on or within the earth, nor any bird that flies with its wings, except that they are communities like you.”

However, there is no other species that has so massively destroyed its own kind, devastated its own environment, and become the greatest threat to its own existence — apart from the human being. This injustice is not a coincidence, but the result of a human choice that is repeated again and again. The choice of: “Me first.” A choice against God, for God is One and knows only the We.

Imam Al-Sadiq said that if people truly knew their origin, they would not differ in religion. At the time of Jesus, people chose Barabbas—a convicted thief and murderer—and rejected the teacher, leader, and king appointed by God, Jesus Christ. They did it then, and they are doing it again today, again and again. Yet God has already chosen a just leader in every age and placed him among us: the Jesus of the time, the Moses of the time, the Buddha of the time, the Mohammed of the time. Today, his name is Aba Al-Sadiq, the Qāʾim of the family of Mohammed.

He is the sign of Imam Al-Mahdi.

He is the sign of God on Earth.

He is the sign of divine justice in this time.”

This speech was repeated again at another point, this time in the Christmas market itself,  with further explanations of the concept and clarifications that religion is a person, and that justice can only come through that leader who must be appointed by God.

Essen was exposed to various slogans during this pioneering march. Slogans like:

“Religion is not a church, not a mosque, not a book, and not rituals — religion is a man” “Sharing, not hoarding!”

“Selflessness instead of corruption!”

“Morality instead of status!”

“Ahmadism instead of capitalism!”

“Without love, there is no life!”

“Humanity First!”

“Aba Sadiq!”

Many people did not know what to make of the name Aba Al Sadiq, so they were encouraged to Google the name. There was also a banner that read: Google “Aba Al Sadiq” and be free.

Ansar with Syrian, Iraqi, Russian, Siberian German, Azerbaijani, and Lebanese backgrounds all took part in the march arm in arm and with great pride in each other and the unity under God which they displayed.

There was a largely positive reaction to the peaceful march with police monitoring the event. Several passers by showed interest and many filmed what was going on with their phones and some took pictures. There was some irritation and often closed-off expressions on people’s faces. However, as the march passed by them, the believers conveyed the core principle of Humanity First smiling at them and establishing a direct human connection. Many released their tension at that moment, stopping to make general enquiries about what was going on, listening and nodding. Some independent social media creators stopped by to interview the main organisers Haytham and Klara as well.

The believers were like a swarm of bees that day. Aba Al Sadiq was in their hearts, and with every step they grew stronger. They were pouring out the light in their hearts and became happier and happier with each step. They laughed, they embraced, they held hands, and they showed the people “Humanity First” alive transcending all boundaries.

They were one body.
