Remarkably in a world of seemingly ever increasing tyranny fermented by megalomaniacal political leaders and extremist religious movements, alongside a plethora of natural disasters, with the world poised on the brink of WW3, there has come forth great relief from God in the form of a far-reaching movement that is indeed bucking the trend.
Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq, Aba Al-Sadiq's predecessor, made it clear that the matter of truth in this dark and despotic age would indeed be more visible than the sun in the middle of the day. Current events match exactly the prophecy that declared there would be a herald from the sky to call out the name of Imam Mahdi, and everyone in the East and West of the lands would hear the voice of truth from their own sitting rooms, just as we see today through the “Mahdi Has Appeared” YouTube channel and the Satellite TV stations.
“There will be a voice from the sky to the people of the earth, such that everyone will hear it in his own language.” (Al-Burhan fi Alamat Al-Mahdi Akhir Az-Zaman, Al-Muttaqi Al-Hindi, p. 37)
Islamic prophecies remarkably reveal how some of the most unlikely people would embrace the truth in our era.
“If the Riser emerges, those that were on this matter will exit out of it and the likes of worshippers of sun and moon will enter into the faith.” (Kitab Al-Ghayba, Al-Numani, p. 332)
It is no wonder on this basis, that today this is a universal call with the broadest spectrum possible of people from different lands and cultures embracing the call. Former Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, agnostics and Hindus, road sweepers, ex-convicts to academics, doctors and teachers, who have all accepted this call wholeheartedly.

Since the Manifesto of the Mahdi was released the importance of supporting the call proactively has been recognised. The fundamental point is therefore, do not ask what the call of God and Riser can do for you but instead what can you do for him. The words of Hussain echo through the sands of Karbala: Is there anyone to help us?
Today these helpers of God, who are willing and determined enough to stand apart from the mainstream in nations such as Malaysia, Iran and Algeria and China have gone out and stood up to oppression in their nations by raising the banner of truth and justice high. They have gone out to declare “Enough is enough" to the tyrant oppressors, that only God has the right to rule over mankind through his chosen guide, irrespective of the consequences to their own lives and reputations.
As Jesus the son of Mary said to the disciples,
"Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples, "We are Allah's helpers!" (The Holy Qur’an, Chapter 61 (Al-Saf), Verse 14)
Prophet Mohammed clarified: “If God guides one man through you, it is better for you than all that the sun rises upon.” (Al-Mu’jam Al-Kabīr lil-Ṭabarānī p. 930)
As we can see from previous articles in DJS magazine, there has been a tidal wave of Ansari brothers and sisters working hard to spread this call across the earth. Over the course of the last few months, the call of Imam Al-Mahdi has grown into a global movement and revolution. Powerful enough to scare the rulers of Malaysia, Morocco, Iran and many other countries.
Turkey
Pooria Lotfiillanou, an Iranian refugee and member of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL), along with his wife and six-month-old baby, were detained by Turkish authorities in Karaman, Turkey, due to their distribution of religious posters in January, 2025. The family faces the threat of deportation, which could be life-threatening given the persecution Pooria fled in Iran. This incident is part of a broader crackdown on AROPL members in Turkey, and the charges against Pooria’s family were brought solely for peacefully distributing religious posters of their beliefs.
Indonesia
In the Far East, Indonesia is surrounded by a natural ring of fire. A nation with some 250 million Salafist Muslims, likewise fiery in nature, as well as many Christians and Hindus, are being introduced to the call. This is despite the fact that members of other faiths there have faced extreme persecution, with houses burnt to the ground, even beheadings from extremist separatist groups, for simply declaring their own faith.
Aden Zulbijadain is part of this growing movement in Indonesia who on his path to find truth arrived from one of harshest and cruelest backgrounds, the evil terror cells of modern times, ISIS. Aden was so tired of the false tyranny in his lands and was so eager for a path of truth that he followed ISIS, but by using discernment he found the true banner of the Riser supporting God's rule, on it written Allegiance to God alone.
Aden faced significant challenges in his journey, primarily stemming from the pressures of his workplace, where he practiced taqiyya to conceal his beliefs, and the extreme anger from his parents upon discovering his conversion. His commitment was catalyzed by watching live broadcasts, researching the will, and engaging in intense meditation, which led him to question his previous beliefs and seek truth. Motivated by a desire to serve Imam Mahdi and disillusioned by extremist movements, Aden ultimately found clarity and spiritual dreams affirmed his new path, guiding him toward a deeper understanding of his faith.
We also spoke to his close companion, brother Wahyu, to learn more about his journey as well about the early days of his calling.
Wahyu's journey to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light began with a background in Sunni Islam. Disillusioned by the inability of traditional religious ideologies to address global issues, he discovered Aba Al-Sadiq's teachings through "The Goal of the Wise" and YouTube videos. The knowledge presented by Aba Al-Sadiq deeply resonated with him, revealing hidden truths that he had never encountered in his previous Islamic studies. This discovery led to a conviction in the concept of a divinely appointed leader as the ultimate solution to world problems. Wahyu's journey was accompanied by significant dreams and visions, including encounters with Aba Sadiq and symbolic experiences in religious settings.
His efforts to spread the call involved various methods, from placing stickers and distributing flyers with hadiths and information about the call in various locations to hosting live shows on social media platforms like TikTok (Tiktok @mahdimemanggil). Despite facing hostility from some family members and potential job risks, he and his fellow believers continue their mission through street preaching, online engagement, and plans for more extensive outreach activities. The believers are planning diverse outreach efforts, including university engagement, street discussions, book writing in Indonesian, public speaking events, and debates, while also developing localized online content to spread their message. Their ultimate goal is to migrate to be with the Imam, and they aim to create resources that will make it easier for potential new followers to access information about the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light.
Malaysia
Normaliza, a former Sufi, became disillusioned with Sunni Islam due to perceived contradictions. She discovered AROPL through a video, initially skeptical but intrigued by its scriptural evidence. After pledging allegiance, she experienced inner peace and had a significant dream involving Imam Ahmad Al-Hassan. Despite facing opposition and family tensions, Normaliza is committed to spreading AROPL's message through social media and personal outreach efforts.
We also spoke to brother Trafalgar, from Malaysia who we interviewed previously, as he has now upscaled his efforts from displaying posters and flyers in the community to reaching out to the Hindu community prior to the Thaipusam Festival.
The brother's journey to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light marked a significant departure from his traditional Islamic upbringing. Raised with teachings focused on rules and rituals, he was shocked to discover AROPL's emphasis on following Prophet Mohammed's family, the Ahlul Bayt, as a means to avoid going astray. This revelation, along with the belief that the Ahmadi religion keeps the Ahlul Bayt alive today, led him to join the faith. Working with the UK HQ Malay outreach team, he engaged in street dawah and public awareness campaigns, including hanging banners from highway bridges to spread the message of religious unity and the appearance of the Mahdi. Brother Trafalgar hopes to eventually migrate to be with Aba Al-Sadiq to help build the Divine Just State, grateful for his acceptance into the family of Al-Mahdi.
The AROPL community in Malaysia does face significant challenges and persecution. The government and religious authorities have declared AROPL believers heretics, simply for presenting their faith in God and his messenger of the age, leading to censorship and shutting down of their social media channels and even disappearances of some individuals. AROPL members of faith have themselves as we reported previously have been arrested and imprisoned for attesting to the faith. Despite these risks, AROPL members continue to spread their message of universal faith, emphasizing humanity first and challenging traditional religious norms.
Thailand
A group of 15 followers of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light set up a booth in the Yangyong Secondhand Market in Hat Yai, Thailand, to spread their faith's message in February 2025. The believers engaged passersby and distributed materials about their beliefs, including copies of Mahdi's Manifesto. Despite the challenges, the believers, ranging in age from 22 to 74, maintained their outreach efforts for nearly three hours. For the participants, including 53-year-old Fatima Kanseeviang and 74-year-old Adul Daraseh, the event was seen as a test of faith and an opportunity to fulfill their mission, regardless of how unfamiliar their message might seem to others.
Believers in Thailand also placed four banners near the Grand Palace (Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang) in the Phra Nakhon District of Bangkok, Thailand after midnight. When they returned in the early morning, they discovered that one of the banners had been removed, leaving only three remaining. This occurred in the vicinity of one of Thailand's most significant and heavily visited landmarks. The event highlights the opposition faced by those spreading their message in public spaces, even in a location as prominent as the Grand Palace area.
China
We know when people of a nation such as China, deeply rooted in communist ideology and so far removed from the call of God in this day and age, start to not only research but also embrace the call that the power and force of God's mission has reached a pivotal moment.
In this modern era, especially since the founding of the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP), religion in China has seen a massive and drastic decline. Therefore anyone who professes faith in a different movement, the likes of the freedom movement of the Riser of Truth and Mahdi revolution, experiences increasing levels of suffering through provocation, monitoring, censorship, harassment and discrimination. Any faith that does not adhere to the mainstream has been declared as a "cult" and "harmful to national security", with a history of people literally disappearing from society. Despite all of this systematic oppression, the revolution of the Mahdi in China is taking hold and believers are emerging full of faith to spread the message.
Mohammad Firas Mohammad Hiary who hails from Anhui Province in China shared his faith and journey to God's chosen ruler. A Sunni Muslim who sought truth, he embraced the call from the “Mahdi has Appeared” YouTube channel when he observed the dialogues of Aba Al-Sadiq. It was like a déjà vu experience to him and deep exposure of divine wisdom, and he was convinced by the will of the prophet revealing a messenger and guide for this age.
Mohammed is now a man full of faith, enjoying talking only about the topics that Aba Al-Sadiq discusses, and spreading this knowledge as much as possible. His active mission has been focused on sharing stickers and posters with links to the websites and QR codes to the channel, on windscreens and around his home and workplace. Mohammad is not ignorant of the fact that in China the oppression and tyrannising of people who spread the hope of the message of the arrival of the Mahdi can result in severe repercussions, yet he feels this work is a blessing and his duty as a member of the AROPL faith.
From the heart of Asia to the heart of Africa, where darkness has prevailed for multiple generations and the resources have been raped and pillaged at the hands of the colonial powers and despotic traitor tyrants such as Idi Amin, Robert Mugabe. Here, the Mahdi’s Satellite channel has reached a new audience. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the indomitable spirit of the people is rising up, taking courage from the call of the Mahdi and Riser of Truth to proclaim a message of hope and salvation for the good people of Africa and beyond.
Zambia
We spoke to our dear brother Razack, a physical trainer from Zambia, where human rights abuses and brutal repression, including systematic harassment and intimidation of activists has led to the suppression of freedom across the nation. As a bastion of faith in Aba Al-Sadiq and a campaigner for the rights of Africans, he clearly recognised that the only hope for lasting peace and stability in Zambia is for the people to learn about the call and support the Rise of the Riser of Truth in their homelands.
Brother Razack’s journey began with questioning the differences within Islam, leading him to discover Abdullah Hashem's teachings. He came across ‘The Arrivals’ series in 2011 by Abdullah Hashem which made him convert to Shia Muslim. He found further confirmation in Aba Al-Sadiq's "The Returned" series and the knowledge displayed about various religious texts, “no one can speak like that unless he is purely divine.” Dreams, including one featuring Prophet Muhammad, affirmed his faith in this call of truth.
Despite facing opposition from local Islamists who view Shia beliefs negatively, Razack remains committed to spreading the message of Ahlul Bayt. He has been sharing videos of Aba Al-Sadiq with family and friends. Looking ahead, Razack plans to distribute posters and flyers across Zambia and potentially in Malawi, hoping to reach more people with the message. His ultimate goal is to ensure the message of Ahlul Bayt spreads everywhere.
The Caribbean
Abdul Kareem Thaqalayni (AK), Bishop of the Caribbean, has a diverse religious background that includes Baptist, African traditions, and Mandean teachings. He converted to Islam at 16 and explored various Islamic schools before discovering the truth of Ahlul Bayt through Abdullah Hashem's works. AK's journey was marked by opposition from mainstream Islamic scholars, whose hypocrisy he exposed. The Calamity of Thursday hadith and Abdullah Hashem's TADS series convinced AK of the truth, leading him to emigrate to Egypt to join the movement. AK would come to present videos on Sat TV, Hashem Films, and spread the call to the Caribbean.
Under AK's leadership, AROPL's outreach in the Caribbean has focused on Hindu and Muslim communities, using various methods such as posters, flyers with QR codes, and social media activities. The message emphasizes the appearance of the promised savior and the fulfillment of God's promise to all prophets and messengers. Despite challenges, AK reports that about 16 individuals, primarily from Islamic backgrounds, have accepted the call. The movement continues its efforts to spread the AROPL message through various outreach activities, including plans for interactive face-to-face dialogues in the future.
What is remarkable is not only the diversity, persistence and creativity of some of these works to spread the message, but also the fact that many of the believers are doing so in countries where not only do the religious authorities reject the call but outwardly fight against the movement. Such deception has led to many public reprisals. Authorities verbally and physically assault members of AROPL, and interrogate, surveil and intimidate them simply for their faith. Many in places like Jordan, or Iran, sharing posters on the subways in broad daylight, face being imprisoned or being institutionalised, as has been observed time and time again.
Canada
On the other side of the world the believers in Canada, recognising the strength and power in rising up as one family, have been strategizing the best ways to spread the message in their region. They have produced two large banners as a tribute to Aba Al-Sadiq. On the 10 year anniversary of the call, they hung the banner of Allegiance to God alone from highway bridges.
The Canadian Ansari team have noticed that the local city enforcement officers have been cutting down the banners, yet this made the team even more determined to reach out to the people and let them know that salvation is close at hand.
Denis and Stacey are embodying the principles of Dawah and the teachings of Aba Al-Sadiq by distributing food parcels to the homeless and struggling members of their community, inspired by the "Sermon of Clarification," which emphasizes humanity over all other distinctions. Their efforts have deeply touched many recipients, some of whom have been moved to tears by this unexpected kindness.
USA
Hosuman Dolley's spiritual journey, from his early days as a Sunni/Shia Muslim in Ivory Coast to his discovery of the Qaim in the United States, exemplifies the universal nature of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light's message. His quest for truth led him through Islamic eschatology and various religious explorations before ultimately finding fulfillment in Aba Al-Sadiq's teachings. Despite facing challenges from family, friends, and workplaces, Hosuman has dedicated himself to spreading the call through flyers, pamphlets, and personal outreach.

Hosuman's commitment to inviting people of all backgrounds to this universal message highlights the importance of unity in supporting the Qaim's mission to establish the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Through his efforts, Hosuman embodies the spirit of striving to bring others to the truth he has discovered and contributing to the broader goal of uniting diverse faiths under the banner of the Qaim's message.
We also have the epic story of brother Tazeem from New York, USA, who emphasises this point emphatically as he is prepared and willing to go out by any means necessary, with recordings of Aba Al-Sadiq’s sacred dialogues onto the streets of Times Square with a loudspeaker to invite all comers to this divine call. Despite facing verbal and physical abuse, police interrogation and the reality of incarceration and being institutionalised, he becomes more empowered to spread the message everyday.
Belgium
Laure Delogne, a Belgian artist and believer in the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light, shares her journey from a Christian background to embracing AROPL. Initially baptized Christian, Laure drifted from her faith as religion faded in her country. She discovered AROPL through her gym coach, Ulises, who introduced her to religious content, including "The Goal of the Wise" by Aba Al-Sadiq. The logical proofs in this book, particularly the Will of Prophet Mohammed, resonated with Laure and convinced her of the call's truth.
Since joining AROPL, Laure has been actively spreading the call, sharing proofs with family and friends, and distributing posters in her local area and online. Her family, especially her two brothers, have been supportive of her new faith. Laure's artistic talents have found expression in creating embroidery inspired by the living Imams and symbols of AROPL, reflecting the divine spirit of reaching truth-seekers in today's world.
Sweden
Love, a Swedish believer, shares his journey from atheism to faith in Aba Al-Sadiq. Raised in an atheist society, Love felt an emptiness that led him to explore spirituality, eventually finding Shia Islam. His path took an unexpected turn when he encountered videos of Mahdi Aba Al-Sadiq on social media, which challenged his preconceptions and ultimately convinced him of Aba Al-Sadiq's authenticity as the awaited reformer and true guide.

Love's spiritual awakening was accompanied by unusual synchronicities. These experiences, along with the clear wisdom and reasoning of Aba Al-Sadiq's teachings, strengthened Love's conviction. Now, together with his friend Wilhelm, Love is dedicated to spreading Aba Al-Sadiq's message across the Nordic lands, viewing their mission as a restoration of balance and a call to truth, justice, and harmony under the guidance of the divine Imam for this age.
Spain
Phatmelek, a dedicated follower of Aba Al-Sadiq, embarked on a spiritual journey that led him from his Sunni roots in Thailand to embracing Shia Islam and ultimately believing in Imam Ahmad Al-Hassan and Aba Al-Sadiq. His quest for deeper truth guided him through various religious explorations, culminating in his firm belief in the 12 Imams and 12 Mahdis mentioned in the Holy Will of Rasulullah. Phatmelek's faith was further strengthened by the concept of Raj'a and the realization that Imam Ahmad Al-Hassan is the returned incarnation of Al-Hussain.
Now residing in Spain with asylum, Phatmelek is dedicated to spreading the dawah. Despite language barriers, he prints flyers and uses innovative methods such as hand gestures and phone and translation applications to communicate the message. His primary goal is to present evidence from the Holy Will of Rasulullah regarding the succession and rulership of Aba Al-Sadiq. While he faced opposition from friends and Islamic fundamentalists in Thailand, Phatmelek finds the Spanish environment more open-minded to his beliefs and mission. He is committed to sharing this message in any way that he can.
A group of Algerian believers from the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light have also found refuge in Spain after facing severe persecution in their home country. These Ansar, including Youssra Bezai, Saliha Salma, Soumia Foufa, Rafik Lombarkia, and Mihoub Salma, were subjected to house arrest, social ostracization, and accusations of apostasy in Algeria for their faith. Despite constitutional guarantees of religious freedom, they faced harassment and work restrictions, leading many to flee to Turkey and later embark on a perilous journey to Europe.
Now in Spain, these Ansar enjoy the freedom to practice their faith openly and engage in missionary work. They distribute flyers and interact with communities to spread the message of Aba Al-Sadiq and his Divine Manifesto, emphasizing a universal mission to unite humanity and establish divine justice on Earth. Their journey and current efforts in Spain reflect their unwavering faith and determination to spread their message of truth, peace, and divine unity.
Morocco
In Morocco, a growing movement of believers in the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light is challenging the established religious and political order. Led by figures like Moham Ali and Habiba, a medical doctor, these followers of Aba Al-Sadiq are actively spreading the message of Aba-Al-Sadiq through public displays and personal outreach, despite facing personal and professional consequences for their beliefs. Drawing on Quranic verses and hadiths, they urge people to reject the authority of current religious and political leaders, including King Mohammed VI, and rally under the Qaim's leadership to heal the Muslim nation.
On February 20, 2025, Moroccan security forces arrested two young members of the AROPL in Khouribga, Morocco. Yahya Marfouk, 24, and Huzaifa Azuz, 19, were detained during a violent raid on Yahya's family home following a peaceful missionary activity the previous evening. The arrests occurred after the two displayed posters and a banner bearing the words "Allegiance is to God." Both young men had sought refuge in Khouribga after experiencing persecution in Tetouan, where Huzaifa had been threatened by his father and twice forcibly institutionalized in a mental asylum for practicing the Ahmadi faith. AROPL has condemned these arrests as brutal violations of fundamental human rights and called for the immediate release of these brave young men and heroes, Yahya and Huzaifa, highlighting their case in the international community.
Bangladesh
Sabirul Islam and Mustafa Kawsar, faced harassment and intimidation while distributing AROPL religious material in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A group of nearly 40 individuals, including a local Imam, confronted the men. The situation escalated when a middle-aged man became agitated upon seeing the Star of David on their materials, leading to verbal abuse, accusations, and threats from the growing crowd. The men were subjected to mockery of their beliefs, and insinuations of foreign involvement. Despite attempts to explain their faith, the hostility intensified, with some individuals attempting to confiscate and burn their materials. The confrontation only ended when an unknown individual intervened, allowing Sabirul Islam and Mustafa Kawsar to leave the scene unharmed, though under continued threats.
In a separate incident, Sala Uddin, a member of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light, faced harassment and threats while distributing posters in Laksam Thana, Bangladesh. A hostile group of approximately 30-40 people Sunni extremists confronted him. The confrontation escalated quickly, with individuals tearing down his posters, issuing threats, and accusing him of various motives, including being a "stooge of the Jews" - an antisemitic reference to AROPL's Star of David logo. Sala Uddin was forced to flee the scene after his materials were confiscated and he received death threats. This incident marks the second reported case of extremist hostility against AROPL members in Bangladesh, emphasizing the increasing levels of persecution and discrimination faced by its members, particularly in regions where religious intolerance is prevalent.
All these efforts mentioned in this article, though huge in their own rights, are just a drop in the ocean to the global phenomenon of Aba Al-Sadiq’s call that has taken a firm grip already. Other noteworthy efforts today include spreading the call from Sadr to Najaf, Baghdad, Basra, and Karbala in Iraq, to Morocco, UAE, Serbia, France, Spain and Germany, Thailand, and Australia, to name but a few.
From believing disciples of Jesus, Baraa and Amathel in Christian areas of Lebanon, to Nima from Iran, who despite one year in prison is now spreading the call in Turkey. From Donna Sinclair in Scotland, Thamina in Telford and Sarah in Birmingham, Ali Arubni in Canada, brother Jaffery in Zambia, and Monir in South Africa. Even this list is far from comprehensive.
By distributing food parcels on the streets to passers by and even handing out flowers with an invitation to the call of God, humanity is clearly being revealed as first and foremost to this call of truth and the establishment of justice on earth.
Despite all the detractors and false scholars of religion issuing fatwas to try to extinguish the light of God and terminate the lives of the believers in AROPL, the call only grows in strength and vitality reaching a global audience.
In tandem, communities that model themselves on the Divine Community of Aba Al-Sadiq are being established on a micro scale, such as in Belgium, to emphasise this truly is the year of unification as promised it would be by Aba Al-Sadiq. As Jesus said, we should be like children to enter the kingdom of God and today children of this call are producing their own drawings of the Riser of Truth to encourage recognition of peace and light shining forth. All the above efforts are paving the way for the ascendancy of the Riser of Truth to claim his seat on the throne of God on earth as it is above in heaven, as promised that it would happen in this day and age in all major world religions. The words of Imam Hussein echo across the lands again today, is there anyone to help us?
Beautiful to see our family all over the World spreading the message.
This was such a great article. God bless the believers who are spreading the message of the call by all means even facing threats and persecution❤️.
