Posters of the Mahdi in Rome and the Vatican

ROME—In a city where the echoes of Catholicism resonate through ancient cathedrals and the Vatican looms as a spiritual epicenter, a new voice emerges. Brother Yamim, a resident of Italy, believes there is a hidden link between Christianity and Islam—one that has been obscured by history. His journey has led him to a revelation about religious succession, divine authority, and the search for a true universal church.

We sat down with him to discuss his faith, his mission, and his belief in Aba Al-Sadiq as the rightful successor ordained by God.

"I begin in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, who created me and granted me the fortune to recognize the Imam of the time. I am a Muslim, and my ancestors were also followers of this religion. I was primarily drawn to Sufi philosophy, and my family followed the traditions of Ahl al-Bayt. However, I alone have taken this path toward what I now understand as true Islam."

He explains that he never felt the need to migrate physically, as his family's beliefs aligned with mainstream Islamic practices. However, spiritually, he has undergone a significant transformation. "I wish to migrate to the Imam of the time, and if Allah grants me that opportunity, I am prepared to go at any moment."

Growing up, he saw divisions within Islam—Sunni, Sufi, Wahhabi, Khariji, Hanafi, Maliki—all claiming to be the true faith. "I was always searching for love towards Allah, the prophets, and the saints. That search led me to different religious teachers, but something always felt missing. Despite my limited knowledge, I felt as though I was being guided."

That search led him to the teachings of Aba Al-Sadiq. "Alhamdulillah, peace be upon Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq. A single video of his changed my life. I found it on YouTube and carefully listened to his words. The concept of recognizing the Imam of the time, the testament of the Messenger, and the unbroken chain of successors is almost nonexistent in Sunni and Sufi teachings. But through his vast knowledge of all religions, I realized the truth. It was no longer hidden from me."

"The moment I saw him, it felt as though I had known him forever. His words were familiar, as if I had heard them before."

Since accepting this faith, he has actively worked to spread its message. "I immediately started sharing the message. I spoke to my family, friends, and even strangers on social media. I created videos, posted about it, and invited others to recognize the Imam of the time. But this did not come without consequences. Many in my community, including my own family, have called me an atheist and a disbeliever. Some have threatened to cut ties with me."

"Still, I know that Allah is my helper, and the Imam of the time is with me. I will never look back, Inshallah."

Three years ago, he had a dream that reaffirmed his beliefs.

"It was late at night, and I saw myself in a garden where many young people were gathered, listening to someone. Nearby, children were playing. As I walked, I saw a man approaching me. He wore a long white robe, a green shawl draped over his shoulders, and beautifully crafted leather shoes. A strange light emanated from his face.

As I moved toward him, I saw a house. A woman stood at its open door, but when she saw me, she shut it. The man told her, 'Let him come inside.' When I entered, he was happy to see me. I believe this dream was a sign—one that reinforced my mission."

Challenges have followed him throughout his journey. "The greatest challenge is rejection. Whether it is family, friends, or society, most refuse to listen. Many view this message with contempt. But I will not stop. Allah’s laws must be established on His earth. There will be no peace until this truth is recognized. I am willing to give everything to implement Allah’s divine plan."

His beliefs about the Vatican and its role in religious succession are clear. "The Catholic Church claims to uphold divine authority, yet its method of selecting a pope—through councils and secret ballots—is a human process. In reality, divine succession is determined only by God. The unbroken chain of successors has been lost to history, hidden within the Vatican’s walls."

"The Church’s immense wealth—estimated between $10 billion and $15 billion—contrasts sharply with the poverty in Catholic-majority countries. How can this be reconciled with the teachings of Jesus? The true universal church of God has been hijacked. Now is the time to reveal this truth."

His ultimate goal is to awaken people to what he sees as divine succession. "The Holy Qur'an (2:30) states, ‘I am placing a successor on Earth.’ It is our duty to seek that successor. Just as Jesus proclaimed the spirit of God was upon him when he read from the scroll of Isaiah, we must recognize the Imam of our time."

"Prophet Muhammad also declared that he was the Advocate, the comforter mentioned in the Book of John. Imam Jafar Sadiq said that the truth would be ‘clearer than the sun.’ And yet, people still deny it."

"There is only one duty now: to support the Divine mission, to bring forth light out of darkness, and to end global oppression. The Mahdi will fill the Earth with justice as it was once filled with tyranny. Those who recognize the truth must act."
