Bitter Winter, “A magazine on religious liberty and human rights”, published a third article on the 8th of June, which follows on from the two articles it had published at the beginning of June addressing the aftermath of the raid on Webb House, the headquarters of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light, on the 29th of April 2026.
This article, “The Saga of AROPL.The Architect of the Narrative: Be Scofield”, goes to the core of the narrative pushed by the mainstream press and how it all stems from a single source, which requires further investigation. The source in question, Be Scofield, is someone who must be understood in order to gain a better insight into the motives and methods driving the narrative adopted by publications such as the BBC, the Guardian, the Telegraph and various social media influencers.
One of the highlights of this article in which Be Scofield is analysed academically and through her own words from her book “Hunting Lucifer”, which is available for sale online. The following quote from the article refers to information taken from “Hunting Lucifer” with the page numbers mentioned. This information raises serious questions about the credibility of Be Scofield professionally and also the integrity of the mainstream press relying on this person as a credible source to depend on in order to form their portrayal to the public of AROPL. “Scofield explains that her investigations rely on five sources of revelation. Astrology guides her movements. Higher‑dimensional messages arrive through psychics and angelic figures who appear and vanish. Tarot cards provide further insight. The Akashic Records, accessed through a psychic intermediary, offer knowledge of the past, present, and future. Extraterrestrials aboard a “mothership” also monitor her and supply information (320, 474). She expresses surprise that law enforcement does not accept these mystical experiences as evidence. At the same time, police and journalists sometimes appear unaware of the unusual origins of her claims.”

This calibre of journalism is unprecedented. It is therefore reasonable to question the various publications that have taken her works as sources of inspiration, not to have fact-checked or thoroughly assessed the credibility of the information she has created for her articles published on The Guru Magazine, founded by Be Scofield herself in 2018.
As the article on Bitter Winter shows, Be Scofield portrays herself as an expert on cults who is able to assist law enforcement in shutting down dangerous or harmful cults through her unique expertise. The Divine Just State Magazine commends Massimo Introvigne for his thorough academic approach in bringing to light the methods used by Be Scofield in her career as an independent journalist.
