On the occasion of the great Victory Day of Bangladesh, a peaceful invitation rally was held in front of the National Parliament Building in the capital Dhaka under the initiative of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. The program was held at around 4:30 pm on Tuesday (December 16) in the South Plaza area of the Parliament Building.

Followers and believers of the organization from different districts of the country participated in the rally. Among the participants were Sabirul Islam Shoaib, Asaduzzaman Noor, Anthony Gomez, Md. Sumon Hashem, Abdur Rob, Md. Taufiqur Islam, Md. Nasim Hashem, Md. Imran Hashem, Salman Abedin, Mostafa Kawsar, Mahabubul Hafiz, Md. Nazrul Islam, Md. Main Uddin and many others. The organizers informed AROPL, that a large number of people gathered in the Parliament Building area from different areas of the capital Dhaka and surrounding areas on the occasion of the great Victory Day. They believe that the National Parliament Building, as one of the most important architectural landmarks and a place of national importance in the country, is very significant and effective in conveying the message of invitation to the general public, that Supremacy belongs to God alone.

During the rally, the general public standing on the roads and sidewalks observed the rally with curiosity. Invitation leaflets were distributed among interested pedestrians, motorcycle riders and auto-rickshaw drivers. Many took pictures and videos on their mobile phones and stayed there for some time to listen to the speeches. At a short gathering organized in front of the main gate of the South Plaza of the Parliament Building after the rally, speakers emphasized the unity of humanity, avoidance of violence, morality and peaceful coexistence. They said that humanity needs a just and divine leadership system that goes beyond the conventional election-centric political system. The speakers mentioned that instead of a man-made political system, only loyalty to the leadership chosen by Allah can lead humanity to the path of justice, unity and lasting peace.

The organizers claim that a positive response to their message was observed among the general public during the program. A few people openly expressed their support. An auto-rickshaw driver stopped his vehicle and spoke to the participants and expressed solidarity with the invitation message. At the end of the program, the organizers said that this initiative to convey their invitation message to the general public on the great Victory Day in a peaceful and orderly environment was successfully completed.
