Despite a recent wave of Christian-led online campaigns denouncing Aba Al-Sadiq as the Antichrist following the viral spread of his New Pope Speech across TikTok, YouTube, and X, a growing number of Christians have chosen to engage more thoughtfully with his message. Many have taken the time to watch his videos and learn more about the faith. Viewership on The Mahdi Has Appeared YouTube channel has soared, with thousands subscribing in the last three days. In fact, some comments show, that the controversy has attracted new interest in his teachings amongst Christians.
Several of our readers have sent in screenshots of positive YouTube comments, showing that for some, the publicity has served as an unexpected introduction to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. Below, we share a selection of these responses:
@franciscomarquez9845: "Why the hate? He's not saying anything bad. Remember no one believed Jesus when he first revealed himself. He's not claiming to be Jesus so don't judge too quickly."
@ShellyMayers-b4t: "It looks like all these 'He's the Antichrist' videos have made you popular! I have unsubscribed from any channel that has promoted that type of video, including Christian channels, because of the judgment — especially when they haven't even taken the time to watch any of your videos. Thank you for stepping forward, God be with you."
@SacredOwl: "I would think that the Chinese government would crack down, but on the other hand, who else has identified the fourth beast and spoken such truth? I know nothing about this movement, religion, or whatever you call yourselves; but I do remember watching 'The Arrivals' maybe some 15 years ago — it was great."
@stephenmachipi9708: "If anything, the gentleman knows his scriptures. His words, based on biblical text, show he knows what he is talking about. While I've heard many preach about an individual Antichrist, I've often worried it might be a system rather than a person. Are his claims right? Who knows!"
@victoriapapesh6892: "This man is smart and has studied many religions with an open heart in order to understand everything... He's amazing. I totally understand that because I like to learn about all religions — I am spiritual, not religious. There are definitely pieces of truth in all religions. This man appears to be a modern-day prophet... This is amazing."
@AncestryMindset: "You are not the Antichrist — you preach peace and justice. It's strange how these people call you Dajjal and yet they don't call their politicians the Antichrist."
