In Loving Memory of Murat Özmen (1980 – 2025)

With heavy hearts the community of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light announces the passing of our dear brother Murat Özmen who passed away following a tragic car accident in Turkey.

Born on March 2, 1980, in Tarsus, Mersin, he was known throughout his life for his honesty, courage, and generosity. He was someone who loved to share everything he earned, who saw helping others as a duty, and who was always selfless and steadfast.

Together with his wife, Fatıma, he raised three children — his eldest son Muhammed, his middle son Hüseyin, and his youngest daughter Zeynep. His deep love and devotion to his family were well known to everyone. For many years, he ran a market, working hard through honest means to provide for his loved ones, and eventually retired.

Many witnessed his sincere faith and devotion; he constantly tried to share this truth with those around him. His only wish in this world was to reach his Imam. Sadly, due to a tragic car accident, he departed from this worldly life — yet he left behind a lasting mark in the hearts of all who knew his faith, his love, and his selflessness.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire righteousness among all who knew him.
