Local Councillor Ben Wye of Cheshire East Council paid Webb House in Crewe a visit today - Wednesday the 19th of November 2025. This was his first visit since The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light established Webb House as the worldwide headquarters for the religion.
Councillor Ben Wye, member of the Labour Party, is actively involved in local governance, focusing on promoting active travel initiatives within his community. He has a history of service on the Crewe Town Council, where he has been recognized for his dedication to local issues.
His visit to The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light headquarters at Webb House, Crewe, started with a brief introduction to the faith after being greeted and shown the Basilica. He was then shown around AROPL studios and given a presentation on the human rights struggles faced by the believers around the world. This was followed by a tour of the grounds and a presentation in The Hall of Mysteries giving an overview of the different facets of the operations within the headquarters.

Councillor Wye was thoroughly impressed with the cafe and cup of coffee he had. Before lunch he was able to experience both the cinema room and the meditation room. The day concluded with lunch in The Hall of Mysteries with Hadil El-Khouly, Caroline Hoeren, Ailia Hallal, Alexandra Foreman and Dr. Irfan Alamgir. He left Webb House with a big smile on his face.
